Expeditionskonzert mit Joana Mallwitz
Performances by the Publikumsorchester on open house day have become a true tradition in the Konzerthaus. But if you enjoy playing music with others more than once a year, and are looking for an orchestra with regular rehearsals, we now offer a nice alternative:
The Konzerthaus Publikumsorchester has been playing together since October 2014, with weekly rehearsals and regular concerts.
Anyone who plays an orchestral instrument and is looking for the opportunity to play music with others is welcome to apply. Simply write an e-mail to publikumsorchester@konzerthaus.de and include the following details:
Your name, address, e-mail address and date of birth
Which instrument(s) you play
Your previous musical training and orchestral experience
If known, which position you held (for example, 1st violin, 2nd violin, 1st/2nd/3rd trumpet, etc.)
The Konzerthaus Audience Orchestra rehearses every Wednesday from 7 to 9.30 pm in the auditorium of the Sophie-Charlotte-Oberschule (Sybelstraße 2, 10629 Berlin). There are no rehearsals during school holidays and on public holidays. The intended concerts will take place in the Great Hall of the Konzerthaus Berlin.
Dirk Wucherpfennig, musician of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, conducts the Konzerthaus Audience Orchestra.
