It is with great regret that the Galilee Chamber Orchestra from Israel has had to cancel its concerts in Amsterdam, Neubrandenburg and Berlin due to the current international situation. The orchestra, which unites Israeli musicians from Jewish and Arabic backgrounds, was meant to perform under the baton of Saleem Abboud Ashkar and with the violinist Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider as the soloist at the Konzerthaus Berlin on August 12 as part of the youth orchestra festival Young Euro Classic.

Young Euro Classic, its presenter DFK e.V. and the entire festival team support the Galilee Chamber Orchestra’s statement, which reads: „Our work is a collective effort in the service of a higher purpose: music. We believe that making music is at once transformative and at the same time essentially human and humanistic.“

All concert tickets purchased directly via Ticketmaster will be refunded automatically. Tickets purchased at a ticket sales point can be returned to the same ticket sales point.
