Expeditionskonzert mit Joana Mallwitz
The biggest twitch stream so far, Spielzeit #13 “Kosmos Orchester” with the entire Konzerthausorchester Berlin under conductor Jonathan Stockhammer, was a huge success. Here are the finest moments on and off stage.
First of all, the technology has to be in place, and no twitch stream is possible without it: cameras, lights, monitors, mixing desks, microphones, computers and a good deal of cabling.
Everything will be set up in the Great Hall this time; the concert hall is turned into a studio!
Any final problems with volumes, lighting and transitions between discussions and music are still being ironed out in rehearsals.
And here we go! The orchestra introduces its vocal groups in motifs from Dvořák’s Ninth Symphony and plays several movements. Questions from the community such as “Who actually gives the cue in the orchestra?” or “Do orchestral musicians still get stage fright?” will of course be answered as well.

Selectress_Eddi this channel is out-of-control good 😮
The lines are running hot, 13 cameras have to be coordinated and controlled. Everyone is in contact via headset. And director Erik Brauer has full control.
Joy and relief after two and a half hours: everything went wonderfully!
