Which concert with the Konzerthausorchester was a special emotional experience for you?

My first concert with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin that opened the 2016 season, with Iván Fischer conducting Anton Bruckner’s 7th Symphony. With this concert, I passed my probationary period in the orchestra. This beautiful feeling will always accompany me and I will never forget that happiness!

What do you enjoy most about being an orchestral musician?

Simply that I can share music with my wonderful colleagues and that we play harmoniously in every respect. And, of course, also that I sit right in the middle of the stage and the orchestra.

What do you do before a concert?

I joke around a bit with the other orchestral members or eat a banana if I’m a bit hungry. I’ve heard that the calcium and magnesium in this fruit help to relax the muscles – but actually I eat it mainly because it’s such a handy snack before a concert.
