Expeditionskonzert mit Joana Mallwitz
Anna Malova studied at the Berlin University of the Arts with Antje Weithaas, Axel Gerhardt and Bernhard Hartog. The prize-winner of international competitions was a member of the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic and played with the Berliner Barocksolisten.
For me, it is making music together with other musicians. A concert can result in indescribable emotions. When 70 to 80 musicians on stage experience a piece together, it is simply unique. But what’s a concert without the audience? That’s another important component, because in the end you get an intense energy boost from the applause that you simply can’t get in any other profession.
I only thought about that recently, because I’ve been playing the violin since I was three and didn’t have time to think about it before ;). I’ve found my absolute dream job – or actually my parents did, as they taught me the violin. But if I let my imagination run wild now, I could imagine becoming an interior designer or doing something in event management.
